Privacy notice
This notice explains how application information is used during admissions for the SOC Residency.
Purpose
We collect the information needed to assess an application, communicate admissions updates and operate the selective admissions process.
Lawful basis and consent
Applicants provide consent for admissions communications. Operational records may also be processed where needed to administer an application securely.
Manual review
Applications are reviewed manually. We do not use automated scoring, automated rejection or solely automated admission decisions.
Retention
The V1 assumption is that application records are retained for up to 12 months after submission, then deleted or anonymised unless a longer period is legally required. This period will be confirmed before production launch.
Sharing and security
Application information is limited to authorised operators and service providers used for secure storage and transactional email. It is not sold.
Your choices
Applicants may ask to access, correct or delete their information by contacting the published privacy address.
